From Artist Point a trail leads 1 mile (45 minutes) to this viewpoint for more fabulous views of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone's colorful walls, though the best views are five minutes before you arrive at the point. The 4-mile (two-hour) round-trip hike to Ribbon Lake branches off from here.
