Plaza Pringles

Plaza Pringles, dedicated to the revered homegrown colonel, is the main plaza around which San Luis grew. It's surprisingly stately and lush compared to the surrounding city. The main square has tall shade trees (with plenty of squawking parakeets) and some beautiful palms. In the center, surrounded by flowers and trees, is a mounted statue of Colonel Pringles himself. Each corner of the plaza has a sculpted fountain representing the four seasons. On the park's southeastern corner you'll find the Cathedral, a twin-steepled building with an exterior that's been damaged by the elements.
