On the shady Passeig del Mar, the sandy, protected and diminutive Platja de la Colònia de Sant Pere runs for a short distance, with swimmers bobbing about in its waters.
Just along the rocks, look out for the vivers of Colònia de Sant Pere – small, round and roofed fish pools made from sandstone and limestone, in which fish are stored in seawater after being caught.
