A massive rock chasm into which three of the park’s rivers plunge during the rainy season (they emerge 20km later in the Mozambique Channel). It's an easy one to two hours' walk and suitable for combining with other landmarks. There are remarkable views over the landscape from the Ampasambazaha viewpoint. You will also see baobab trees along the trail.
