Penobscot Marine Museum

The superb Penobscot Marine Museum houses Maine’s biggest collection of mariner art and artifacts, which is spread through a number of historic buildings. You'll find dozens of small craft, souvenirs collected by Maine sea captains and a terrific collection of folk art. There's some wonderfully evocative photography collections, and fun kid-friendly activities, too.
