Castleton's most convenient cave is easily reached by a pretty 250m streamside walk south of the village center. It has the largest natural cave entrance in England, known (not so prettily) as the Devil's Arse. Dramatic limestone formations are lit with fiber-optic cables. Buy tickets ahead online.
