La Rábida's beautifully landscaped botanical garden sits on a hillside, with plants and trees from both New World and Old. The large park makes for a delightful ramble, featuring palm-lined canals, pools, a greenhouse containing tropical plants and a fine observation deck overlooking the Río Guadiana.
