Palacio Rio Branco

Acre’s first capitol building, the imposing Palacio Rio Branco, is now mostly a tourist attraction. A maze of interconnected rooms contain informative, well-done displays on prehistoric artifacts, indigenous communities, Chico Mendes and the Acrean Revolution.
