In the middle of Oulanka National Park, 20km north of Juuma, this visitor center has trekking supplies, cafe, maps and fishing licences. An 800m walk (one way) takes you along the Oulankajoki to the Kiutaköngäs rapids. You can rent canoes and kayaks (per day from €50/75) here through Erä-Susi; prices include pick-up or drop-off and a safety lesson.
Also at the visitor center is an exhibition of photos and films with information on the national park.
