Old Courthouse Museum

The Monroe County museum contains a permanent exhibit on native daughter Harper Lee and her pal, Truman Capote. In addition, each year from mid-April to mid-May, curtains rise on a production of To Kill A Mockingbird set in the courthouse that inspired the novel and later film adaptation. If you're a fan of either work, or just love Southern literature, don't miss a production.
