Located on the 74th floor of Tower 2 at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, Observation Deck at 300 (hilton.com) is the capital's highest public viewpoint – the "300" refers to meters above sea level. The elegant observation deck and cafe (entry Dhs95) has panoramic views of the city and exceptional service. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the Corniche, Breakwater, Qasr Al Watan and Abu Dhabi's numerous offshore islands.
While entry includes a Dhs50 food and beverage credit redeemable at the cafe, many visitors opt for the award-winning afternoon tea (Dhs275), which must be booked at least 24 hours in advance and includes deck access. An excellent excuse for a midday break, it has six types of savory tea sandwiches, eight kinds of delicious pastries and scones, and a variety of tea and coffee. Ask for a table with views over the Breakwater and Qasr Al Watan, but don’t forget to stroll around the deck to admire the views of Abu Dhabi's many skyscrapers, islands, marinas and sandy beaches along the coastline.
The entry is right next door to the Jumeirah's main hotel entrance.
