North Acropolis

The trio of pyramidal temples at the North Acropolis are built atop older structures dating back to 100 BC. Comprising of seven platforms, the northernmost temple rises above the jungle foliage. As you enter the complex, look for the remnants of giant stucco masks beneath the thatched roof on the right.
