New Plymouth Observatory

Atop Marsland Hill (Pūkākā to Māori...great views!) is this wee observatory, with one of the most powerful public-access telescopes in NZ. The cacophonous Kibby Carillon is here too, sounding its 37 bells across New Plymouth's rooftops.
