Drawing on a collection of some 830,000 works of art, both local and international, this is Poland's largest museum. It will come as a revelation for anyone unfamiliar with Polish creativity through the ages. The diverse exhibits include medieval Coptic Christian paintings rescued by Polish archaeologists from Sudan, gems of Polish design, and superb art from the 19th to 21st centuries.
