National Galleries Scotland: Modern Two

The first, MODERN ONE, has the bulk of the permanent collection, including works by Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Francis Bacon, Andy Warhol and Tracey Emin, while the second, National Galleries Scotland: Modern Two, is best known for surrealist works by Salvador Dalí and Rene Magritte alongside temporary exhibitions. Both buildings are set within large green parks that have outdoor sculptures by the likes of Barbara Hepworth, Nathan Coley and Joan Miró; you can easily spend two hours just wandering idly among them. There are regular shuttle buses to the National Gallery on Princes St.
