Museu Rondon de Etnologia e Arqueologia

The small Museu Rondon has exhibits on indigenous culture and is well worth a visit to check out the ornate headdresses and weaponry. The museum is located on the grounds of the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), behind the swimming pool. To get here, catch a C01 Universitária bus (R$3.85) from Praça Alencastro.
