Museu do Barro e do Forró

Inside the municipal cultural center there are two worthwhile museums. The Museu do Forró holds every bit of memorabilia on Luiz Gonzaga, the father of forró, that it could get its hands on – including the pajamas he died in. The adjacent Museu do Barro is the best place to see original ceramic pieces created by Mestre Vitalino and numerous works by other accomplished local potters.
