On the 3rd floor of a grand former hospice building, this smart, modern museum unpacks the evolution of La Garrotxa's industry, history, culture, art and population. The focus is on local art and sculpture, particularly the late-19th-century Escola d'Olot painters, who took inspiration from the region's beautiful volcanic landscapes. Labels are in Catalan, but there are Spanish-, French- and English-language booklets.
