Munpil-bong

More accessible routes are the 3.9km-long hike from Gap-sa to Sambul-bong along the Geumjandigogae Pass (2½ hours) and the scenic 2.9km-long hike from Gap-sa's parking lot to 740m-high Yeoncheon-bong and the Deungun-am hermitage , set right beneath the peak. Yeoncheong-bong is surrounded by four viridian mountains ( Cheonwang-bong , Ssalgae-bong , Munpil-bong and Sambul-bong) and offers views stretching to the Gyeryongil and Yanghwa Reservoirs . Sunsets here are particularly stunning.
