Sant Feliu de Guíxols' Benedictine monastery dates to the 10th century, though later periods endowed it with a baroque building that now houses the local history museum and tourist office, plus occasional art exhibitions. Within the complex, find the 10th-century Porta Ferrada (Iron Gate), two turreted watchtowers and Romanesque vaults, and, just around the corner, a Gothic church.
