The first, Mirador Tala Caído, has a Villa de Merlo sign and town views, but the best stop is 1470m-high Mirador del Sol, with sweeping vistas over the valley, town and flat pampas beyond. Parador Mirador del Sol, open 10am to midnight, has coffee and food, and also runs a zip line (instagram.com/tirolesamiradordelsol; WhatsApp 2664-846319).
