Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917

Within the grounds of Kasteelpark Zonnebeke you'll find this polished WWI museum charting local battle progressions with plenty of multilingual commentaries. The big attraction here is descending into its multiroom ‘trench experience’ with low-lit, wooden-clad subterranean bunk rooms and a soundtrack. Explanations are much more helpful here than in ‘real’ trenches elsewhere.
