McKinney Roughs Nature Park

Four different ecosystems – post oak savannah, blackland prairie, east Texas piney woods and riparian – meet at this 1100-acre park, 13 miles southeast of Austin Bergstrom Airport. As well as a natural science center and hiking trails, it holds a canopy-level zipline (www.ziplostpines.com).
