Built in 1888, replacing the original 1833 light station, this red-and-white lighthouse on the end of Low Head itself is a great spot to watch kanamaluka/Tamar River spilling into Bass Strait. On Sunday at noon, the foghorn sounds with three ear-splitting bellows.
