Lavenham Guildhall

Lavenham's triangular marketplace is dominated by the whitewashed guildhall, a superb example of close-studded, timber-framed, early-16th-century architecture. It's now a museum with displays on the wool trade and medieval guilds; in its tranquil garden you can see plants that produced typical medieval dyes. It's expected to return to daily opening in 2021.
