Award-winning vintner (lachiripada.com), 2.5 miles east of Hwy 68 along Hwy 75, that only uses New Mexican grapes first opened its tasting room more than four decades ago and grows some of its grapes right there in the parking lot. As well as offering tastings here, it also runs a tasting room in Taos (103 Bent St).
Daily free tastings (with the assumption that you buy a bottle) include top sellers like their award-winning Rio Menudo merlot. The owners are confident that you'll like what you try so much you'll want to take a bottle home.
