Established in 1985 by former Flash Art editor Michael Kohn, this is one of LA's top private gallery spaces, with museum-standard exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. Heavyweight names represented here include Dan Flavin, Donald Judd, Barbara Kruger and Cy Twombly, mixed in with emerging talent such as New York–based embroidery artist Sophia Narrett and Mexican conceptualist Octavio Abúndez.
