The former factory of Donegal Carpets provides a good overview of the town's history. The fun wheelhouse simulator lets you "steer" a fishing trawler into the harbor. Don't expect to see any carpets being made as the cost to do so is now "astronomical," they say. The last tour is at 3.45pm.
