Anchoring the vibrant Little Tokyo neighborhood and dedicated to the Japanese immigrant experience, this impressive museum (janm.org) includes the "Common Ground" exhibition, which explores the evolution of Japanese American culture since the late 19th century. Exhibits give moving insight into the mass incarceration of over 125,000 American citizens of Japanese descent in remote internment camps during WWII.
