Constructed from removable planks, allowing it to be dismantled in the event of a hurricane, the 1300ft pier (when operating) has a bait shop, concessions and fish-cleaning stations. Bring drinks, cast your line and wait for a nibble. However, repairs on the pier following damage from Hurricane Matthew have dragged out far longer than anticipated. As of the time of research, about half was open but only fishable at high tide.
