Ithra is a world-class cultural venue like no other in Saudi Arabia. The building resembles a space station, and is home to a cinema, a museum, exhibition galleries, a library, and a theatre with world-class performing arts. Past performances have included Japans' Shizuoka Performing Arts Center and legendary oud player Naseer Shamma and his orchestra.
There are plans to open a restaurant in the tall central tower.
