There are land border crossings between Peru and Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador. Notwithstanding, the bulk of vacationing visitors arrive by airplane, touching down in Lima's Jorge Chávez International Airport, a large, modern South American hub that underwent significant expansion in 2025. It's the only Peruvian airport with flights beyond South and Central America.
