Hopkins Vineyard

On the northern shore of Lake Waramaug, Hopkins Vineyard produces eminently drinkable wines from predominantly French American hybrid grapes. Come for wine tastings with views of the lake from its bar. There's a nice cheese bar upstairs, too, to pair with your bottle. Call ahead during the low season, a good time to taste the ice wine, made from frozen grapes.
