Haworth Parish Church

The Brontê family vault lies beneath a pillar in the southeast corner of this handsome parish church, which was built on the site of an older church where Patrick Brontë served as vicar between 1820 and 1861; it was demolished in 1879. A polished brass plaque on the floor commemorates Charlotte and Emily; Anne is buried at St Mary's Church in Scarborough.
