Hanapepe Valley Lookout

Well before you reach Hanapepe as you approach from the east, shortly after Mile 14 on the highway, this roadside lookout offers a view deep into Hanapepe Valley, where the red-clay cliffs are topped by wild green sugarcane. First-time visitors often imagine they’re seeing Waimea Canyon, but this is more of a teaser for the dramatic vistas further on.
