The 1934 Hackberry General Store lures passersby with its eccentrically decorated gas station, vintage cars in faded disrepair and rusted-out ironwork. Located 28 miles northeast of Kingman, it’s run by a Route 66 memorialist and is an ideal stop for a cold drink and souvenirs, or information on the route.
