Guramishvili Museum

A small neoclassical building contains a museum dedicated to 18th-century Georgian poet David Guramishvili, who was made a major local landowner for his valour as an officer in the Imperial Russian Army. Living here for 32 years after resigning from service, Guramishvili pretty much reinvented Georgian poetry as well as revolutionised local agriculture by introducing Georgian-style watermills.
