Guanyu Temple

Dedicated to Guandi, the god of war and protection (among other things), this temple was originally built during the Ming dynasty (then dedicated to the god of wealth); the present structure dates back to 1708. Consisting of a single hall, there is not much to see here besides the building and a twisted pine tree – touch the top branch for fortune, the rear for longevity, or the middle for a promotion.
