Glenfiddich kept single malt alive during the dark years. The distillery is big and busy, but the handiest for Dufftown, and foreign-language tours are available. The 1½-hour standard tour (£10) starts with an overblown video, but it's fun and informative. An in-depth half-day Pioneer's Tour (£95) must be prebooked.
