Take Argyle St to 4 George St and turn left to admire its old shops and pubs. The 5 Suez Canal, on the right, is a name play on 'sewers' and a reference to its narrow size, tapering to 1m at the George St end. It was once a hangout for the notorious Victorian-era gang The Rocks Push.
