On the Mt Rose Scenic Byway, this helpful visitor center at the Galena Creek Recreation Area provides information about the latest conditions and nearby trails. There's a paved interpretive trail out back if you just want to stretch you legs, plus a few longer trails. Guided nature hikes on the first and third Saturdays of the month at 10am. Restrooms here too.
