Hidden away in a small plot, next to a car park near the train station, is this brick Buddhist pagoda dating to the unified Silla period. It's a most elegant pagoda and in a good state of preservation; nearby stand the remains of two 2.6m tall stone pillars that were used to support a flagpole for Buddhist flags. Both indicate this was the site of a long-vanished temple.
