Ellington in the Park

Grab an upper-level picnic table to gorge on burgers and beer at this two-tiered outdoor restaurant within Riverside Park. The food is fine, but the ambiance is fantastic. Gymnastic rings below and a dog run above make for captivating people-watching, and if you arrive before twilight, you can soak in the sun setting beyond the Hudson. Open April through October.
