The cafe at the Isle of Harris Distillery, with its communal, scrubbed-timber tables and chunky benches, is bright and convivial. The menu is not extensive – a choice of soups, cakes, home-baked bread and platters of cheese or seafood – but the quality of the food, most of it sourced directly from Harris, shines brightly.
