Derwent Dam Museum

The exploits of the Royal Air Force Squadron No 617, aka the Dambusters, are the focus of the Derwent Dam Museum in the lower car park just south of the dam where they tested their "bouncing bombs." The relocated museum, adjacent to the tourist office, is due to open in early 2021.
