Ganja's centrepiece is the ample City Hall Square, locked between Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Ave and Shah Ismayil Khetayi Ave, collecting some of the inner city's most important landmarks. This wide, walkable space is often described as two separate squares – Shah Abbas and Heydar Aliyev – although they connect, forming a 600m-long space.
