Cinevilla

This theme park grew out of a set built for Aigars Grauba's film Rīgas sargi and continues to be used by film makers. Over the years a 'faux' Rīga embankment, complete with a boat, was joined by a bogus 'little town' and a 'railway station' with a real steam train. A 'medieval port' was under construction when we visited. Tourists can play with movie props, try on costumes and even shoot their own movie. There’s an on-site restaurant.
