Seating 5500 people, this church is one of the largest in the Balkans. Tradition holds that the Romans crucified St Andrew here in Patra (on the diagonal cross represented on the Scottish flag). The church houses religious icons and paintings, as well as relics including the apostle's skull and part of the cross.
