Up on Santa Maria del Monte, this beautiful villa and its surrounding gardens house a small but dazzling repository of artworks, with paintings, sculptures and textiles spanning more than 2000 years of human history. Among the treasures is the original plaster cast of the main door of Milan's Duomo, Greco-Roman carvings and Egyptian sarcophagi.
