Within the historical walls of the graceful 18th-century Palacio Spínola, this entertaining museum is dedicated to the timple, a traditional Canarian stringed instrument similar to a ukulele. Spanish-language displays unveil the history of the timple through the ages (it was first documented in the Canaries in 1792), with timples on show alongside similar instruments from around the world, such as the Indian sitar.
